Baggerbedrijf van der Laan BV was founded shortly after World War Two, by Mr E van der Laan. From the first work that was done to deepen the peat lands in the Netherlands, to the restructuring of the canals in Dutch cities, our work has contributed to some distinctive national sights and town/cityscapes in the Netherlands and Belgium, which are so typical of these countries.

Our company is presently in the hands of the 3rd van der Laan generation. Our expertise and network has grown over the past 60 years, to form a solid and reliable organisation which never causes unexpected surprises. We cherish our motto 'we explain what we do and are true to our word', and our clients have a deep appreciation for this mind frame. This is certainly true in today's day and age, where everything has become transparent and where mobility ensures and supports a world market.
